About

My name is Lena and I am a visual UX/UI designer. My experience has led me to develop skills in illustration & animation as well as UX/UI, graphic, and web design.

In the past, I worked at Algonquin College designing and developing e-learning interfaces for the Autism Behaviour Science program. My mission was to create user-friendly interface experiences for the students that were using the program on their laptops or mobile devices, the challenge was designing e-learning modules with visuals that offered interactive content that would help students learn intuitively. This experience helped me to understand the value design can bring to a project while developing a passion for user design and working on projects that matter!

Currently, I am working at Nokia where I have experience working in agile, cross-functional teams while creating high-fidelity designs and collaborating closely with developers.

I have worked extensively with Adobe Photoshop, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure, and Sketch as well as other design tools; Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Autodesk Maya 2018, Visual Studio, Microsoft Excel and I am always excited to learn more!
